June is going to be a '6' energy where dreams (or nightmares, depending upon whether you're in politics or not) come true. For many North Americans,this is 'vacation' time and a '6' energy is certainly enhances that wonderful frame of mind. This is a month of reversal and surprises, however, so stay tuned in and flexible and you can take advantage of all this cosmic energy that's going to be unleashed mid-month.

Just as June opens up we will be on the tail end of a BLUE MOON (a second full moon in any month is called this) on May 31st, Thursday, so the full moon energy is blasting out for June big time. And of course, with full moon comes 'full' experiences of all kinds. The Blue Moon took place at 10 Sagittarius, so this sign and it's opposite, Gemini, are in the spotlight. This means that Sagittarius and Gemini people, or those with either of these signs in their natal chart, are really going to get the opportunity to off load all the above discussed items. They are in the 'spotlight' so to speak, to get the baggage offloaded or placed on them, accordingly. It will be done either quietly, when an inner realization hits you and you "get it," or you will draw some outer, third dimensional drama to you so that you can act out in it accordingly. There's lots of emotional energy that kicks off this month, for sure. The tides of our own body run at high during any full moon; so watch your temper and overemotional reactions.

Emotions are fine and should be honored. But with a full moon opening up June, we may become drama queens and kings when the situation or confrontation really don't need this kind of fly away energy. Stay grounded--THINK before you speak, and things should winnow out just fine. If not, you'll have a lot of hurt feelings and be sorry that you flew off the handle. And unfortunately, Sag people have 'hoof in mouth' disease--they just blurt, they don't think before they speak and so, damage is done. Gemini's, on the other hand, don't know when to be QUIET. Chatterboxes can be very nerve wracking to others, Gemini--so watch your mouth and how much you think needs to be said. Practice some restraint and everyone will be grateful. Say less and it will have more effective power.

Mars, Jupiter and Saturn have a grand fire trine in this month, so this is a very active, busy and passionate month to put forth your ideas, your working on your interior, or manifesting things on the exterior. Many things will go with surprising ease thanks to the trine energy being cosmically sprinkled over us this month--which is good! We can all use a little ease, a little luck and smooth sailing.

To add to June 1st, we have Moon conjunct Jupiter, and so it's going to be hard for these two signs to keep their mouths closed on much of anything. Jupiter is about overwhelming amounts of some "thing" and chatter/talkativeness could be the bane of our existence on this day. On another hand, this is a very LUCKY day--things go smoothly, without a hitch and everyone is going to feel good about that. People are in an upbeat, optimistic mood. The cup is half full today and that's good news. Still, all in all, this is a fine day and happiness is being sprinkled by the cosmic fairy over all of us. Only once a month does the Moon conjunct Jupiter--and it's always a good day unless there's a lot of other nasty aspects, but other than a slight surprise, things should be upbeat and positive.

June 3 is a nasty day potentially because Moon is square Mars; and this always makes people super irritable, cranky, and nasty. Road ragers will be out in force thinking their way or no way on the highway, so be alert for these idiots. It is a day of potential to get a lot of things done because Mars fuels our desire and our passions. However, when in aspect with the Moon, our emotions can get sequestered and heated arguments and saying things we will regret later, can crop up, too. If you do get upset, feel your way through it, think FIRST, speak SECONDLY, and it should get resolved in a peaceful instead of warlike manner.

June 3, 4 and 5th Mars is trine Jupiter. This can be a highly fortunate pairing if you remember Jupiter stands for unlimited 'things' and that includes your emotions which can boil over--so just be aware. On another level, this is a VERY good time to receive Cosmic rewards that you have earned the hard way; the goody basket is out during this time and I hope you all get some great things that have finally come due to you as a reward.

June 6th, all Leos and Aquarians will celebrate as the Diva of the Heavens, Venus, sails happily into the King of Lions sign. Venus is very happy in Leo, because Leos are extravagant, giving and throw great parties. These two signs may be putting out some serious money in shopping fashion on new designer duds, a new hybrid car (think a Toyota Prius here or maybe a Camery) to become 'green' or to shower someone else with their love and attention. This is a happy day, and you should have a deep, sound, healing sleep with Moon conjunct Saturn in the early morning hours of this day. Plan something special on this day because Moon is also conjunct idealistic, fantasy ladened Neptune. A romantic dinner for two tonight is a definite possibility!

June 8th brings a rather shocking surprise. Moon is conjunct Uranus at 18 Pisces. And poor Pisces, you may get a jolt out of this, as well a your opposite sign, Virgo. Pisces people are so fragile, sensitive and vulnerable by nature that they don't need the lightning bolt energy of Uranus around them but that's what they have for the next several years. Today is one of shocks, surprises or jolts for everyone in general; because there are a lot of square aspects to go with it. This day requires us to ground ourselves, stay very flexible and bend with the winds of Chance that blow our way for each of us on an individual basis. On a good note, this is an 'aha' day with lots of revelations and potential awareness, too. It's a highly creative day for those in that trade, so stay tuned in and you'll get some awesome ideas! It's nerve wracking and nervous exhaustion and stress can be showered upon all of us today; take ten deep, calming breaths and that will help us get through this frazzling day.

June 11 and 12, Mars is trine Saturn. This is another time for rewards for a lot of work that has been done by you. Saturn is about a lot of responsibility, hard work without complaint, and doing the best job possible. With Mars in trine, expect a raise from the boss, praise, a promotion or some kind of kudos and pat on the head for your loyalty and efforts. This is also a great time to see something you've been working on come to physical manifestation in a highly successful and positive way. It's also excellent for starting up a new business or long term commitment.

June 15 we see the NEW MOON and it occurs at 23 Gemini. That means Gemini and Sag people are off to new things, new ideas and new adventures! Of course, the New Moon affects everyone, and this is a time to start any new project--USUALLY--but this one is a little different because on June 15th, Mercury goes RETROGRADE, so be sure to get your new things/ideas/stuff into operational mode five days before this date or it won't go according to plans. With a New Moon in Gemini, this day is hectic, busy, but things are going to go smoothly for the most part with the exception around no no when Moon squares Uranus; so expect a slight course correction in your plans, but after that, it should go fine. This is a very, very busy day. There's a lot of business in the air, a lot of ACTION, so get your roller blades on and be ready to boogy accordingly.

June 15th Mercury goes retrograde in the afternoon (PDT) at 11 Cancer. That means that Cancer and Capricorn people are going to be looking at something that needs to redone or revised in some way and in some level. Mercury is retrograde from June 15 through July 9th. This is a great time to tie up loose ends and finish off any projects that you couldn't get too before--you can now. Do NOT start any new projects during this timeframe or it will backfire on you and won't go according to your expectations or plans that you developed to roll it out. Things need to be revised, redone and so look at what you haven't finished up and use this time to complete these tasks or items, instead.

June 17th is Father's Day in the USA, and it's a Sunday rife with potential irritability and anger. Let's hope families don't use this day as one to resurface past wounds and hurts and bring them to this celebration.

From June 17 to the 28th, Saturn is opposite Neptune. Expect a lot of jarring if you are an idealist or you are easily snookered by others. Deceptions are found and uncovered. Liars are outed. The Truth will out in this time frame; so be looking for liars and deceivers in the US government to be toppled and forced to come clean. Saturn is a taskmaster and doesn't take lightly to liars.

June 21st is the Summer Solstice and it's a day of surprises with Uranus involved, as well as transformation because Pluto is in the mix as well. Use this time to go out and give birdseed to the birds or a gift to the animals or cornmeal to your favorite tree or bush and thank them and Mother Earth for sustaining your life on this planet. It is a time of gratitude on this day; remember all those who have helped you, as well.

On June 23rd, Uranus goes retrograde at 18 Pisces and all Pisces and Virgos will be receiving upset five days before or on this date. There will be a separate article on what it means for Uranus to be going retrograde so that you can reap the rewards of this catalytic planet instead of being caught off guard. For the most part, this is a day of awakening, of beneficial 'aha's' and making strides in your own inner landscape of yourself on a positive level. Use it wisely and bend and be flexible. If you are, rewards will come. If not, you'll feel like you got hit by a Mack truck.

On June 24th, Mars goes into intractable, stubborn and fixed Taurus. The planet of fire, passion and aggressiveness does not get along well with this bullish earth sign; and Taurus and Scorpio people may feel like they were blown out of their holes as Mars blasts into their sign and opposite sign. Mar's job is to unstick the stuck, in this case. Any fixed sign does not like change and prefers the rut of continuity and changelessness. Mars, on the other hand, wants the opposite. He wants decisions now, movement, assertiveness and leadership. Fixed signs are dearth to change or flex. But they must do all these acrobatics or suffer the consequences of the kick butt, take names Mars plowing up their tidy little rutted existence. A word to the wise here: be flexible, adaptable and change--or else.

June 28th the Moon conjunct Jupiter and what a fortunate day for everyone. This is a time of cosmic goodies being strewn about to those who are deserving. And, with it near the Full Moon on June 30th at 8 Capricorn, the signs most lucky will be Sagittarius, Gemini, Capricorn and Cancer. If you play the lotto--today is the day to do it! Also, Jupiter stands for unlimited expansion on some "thing" be it your emotions, your ideas, your talking/communication. When this is supported by the overflowing energy of a FULL Moon, between June 28 to the 30th, people are going to be highly emotional. And of course, too much of anything isn't harmonious or in balance; so watch your feelings and don't become a drama queen or king because it will be so easy to do. Take the 28th and do something good for others and you will reap the rewards through the generosity of the Cosmos by doing such service and compassion.

The Full Moon on June 30th is at 8 Capricorn. People whose birthdays fall around December 29 through the 31st, are going to be directly affected by this wide open energy. By opposite sign, 8 Cancer, those who have birthdays around June 28 through July 1st will be making some serious decisions that will change their lives. Things come to a head for Capricorn and Cancer this month. Moon is opposite Mercury and Venus is opposite Neptune on this Full Moon. Watch what you have to say and how you say it. And speak it, you will. Diplomacy can win you the changes or decision you are seeking. If you are confrontational (and the energy is all of that) then watch out. This is one Full Moon to be serious about thinking first and speaking later.

With Venus opposite Neptune on the Full Moon, there's going to be a shattering of love or a realistic check mark that wasn't there before. Neptune is the planet of illusion and lies or deception on its downside. If you have a loved one then the possibility is there that you do not know the truth and you will find out on this Full Moon. It can also be a chance to patch up romantic misunderstandings or clear the air so that both partners understand one another--without the rose colored glasses in place.

THE TENOR OF THE YEAR: An Overview of 2007

2007 in numerological terms is 2+0+0+7 = 9. This is a "9" year coming up and the twelve months within it are going to test us all on some level. Why? Because a "9" energy is about tying up loose ends and finishing unfinished business. Iraq certainly qualifies. Bush has put us into a war that should never have been and now, extrication is going to occur much slower than we want. And lives will continue to be lost. And for what? The twisted, distorted and warped idea of Bush? What ashamed. There were those of us who protested from the first that we should not go into Iraq. Now, six years later, we are being shown we were right to protest and try to stop Bush and his hawks who wanted another Vietnam all over again. And interestingly enough, the same crew that was around during the Vietnam war were the same ones who triggered this one. Bush hid in the reserves in the USA so he didn't have to go to Vietnam. Too bad. If he had, he'd have thought twice about going into Iraq. What irony. With a "9" energy this is going to become a test of wills and whoever has the stronger one is going to get their way. One hopes the Democratic Congress gets a big set of cajones and gets the job done and gets our brave men and women out of Iraq and stop the needless, senseless loss of life.

On a more personal front, we are all going to be finishing up tasks that have been ongoing perhaps for months or years. This is the year where it will be put to bed and to rest--finally. It will require patience and if you don't have much, you'll certainly get more as this year rubs off against you.

And, "9" energy always means delays. So, expect them. Whether that means going to work, flying on a plane (foolhardy as it is), across town, across the nation or the world. Delays are going to be rampant.

On the high side of this number expression, it means we're trying desperately to reach into our hearts and to express ourselves through our heart--not our lower chakras where it's too easy to succumb to our lower desires and addictions. Compassion, human caring and being aware of the human condition will take front and center this year. Whether it hits home in your own family where you must become a caretaker for a parent or see the plight of uneducated children in the US or other countries, this is the time to volunteer to help. Or, at least be supportive when and where you can, if possible. This is a year of forgiveness not only of yourself, but forgiving others as well. And if you can't forgive them, at least start with yourself and Time will take care of the rest. At it's highest, unconditional love will be spread like fairy dust upon the globe. Many who have been striving nonstop to be heart-centered will finally receive that gift from Spirit. One that is well earned through constant, tireless, hard work and effort.

The tests and initiations in a "9" year are the most difficult to attain. And we will all be tested personally. The tests will come out of our relationships, our business partners or people we work with and the stranger on the corner, as well. In some ways, this is a year of constipation where everything moves more slowly than usual. And if you're impatient by nature you are going to bridle over the sluggish, almost blocked (seemingly) energy around you. Just know that these delays or slow downs are there for a reason.

A "9" energy is the culmination of the other eight numbers before it. Anything not learned in the last eight years will be served to us on a silver platter this year to work through and come to terms with. It is never easy nor is it usually painless, although I wish it were. We seem to be a species that doesn't learn when things are easy and soft. Only when pain is applied, to we change, throw out things that have outlived their usefulness and let go. Then, we grow, transform and mature (usually). And those that don't go through this process dig more deeply into hiding through their drugs and alcohol addictions, or try to escape by running away from whatever responsibility they are supposed to take on and assume. This is also a time of a higher suicide rate than normal because the pain may seem too great and people just opt out, instead.

On another energetic playing field, this year is asking us to be broad mined, not narrow minded. Idealism will take root more than before. And humanitarian giving is going to be stressed. This is a time of creativity as well, whether it means that you are finally going back to a hobby you once had but left because you were too busy, or new talent within you is going to take root and grow. If you've always wanted to paint, but didn't, this is the year to pursue that desire. Whether it is learning how to write a song, write a book, learn to paint, draw or play an instrument, go for it.

Volunteerism, an offshoot of compassion and humanitarian offering, is going to be strong and supported. Look to see how you can be of service to others in your own community. Perhaps you work behind the lines of a food kitchen, or help serve the poor during the holidays. The energy in the air is about knowing you are part of something greater and that we are all related and connected. It cannot be stressed enough that whatever you give out, you are going to get back tenfold by your thoughtful, unselfishness.

Think about being a mentor in your home town. You don't have to look far to be of service to others. Your knowledge can be helpful to those who are young and seeking help, guidance and support. Or become a Big Brother or Big Sister. Maybe spend an hour a week at a retirement or nursing home reading to those whose eyes can no longer do that. When you stop and think about these little things that can mean so much, I'm sure you will know how to serve.

There is going to be new seeds of friendliness and kindness spread across the world. So much of the nastiness, the selfishness, the lying done by so many, are no longer going to be acceptable. The "9" energy can bring back solid morals and values as no other number can. People are going to start seeing and 'getting' the broader picture of Life. Everyone's vision is going to stop revolving narcissistically around them and they are going to look around and understand their choices DO affect others. And so, we may well see a welcomed change in behavior from people and it's long over due.

Metaphysics or the paranormal realm is going to be even stronger in 2007 than before. In the writing and publishing arena, vampire books and anything on the paranormal is 'hot' but it hasn't crested yet. You will see even more books on the invisible realms and some very thoughtful, life-changing books from the non-fiction sector about spirit and living a spiritually fulfilling life.

Religion is going to continue to take thumping from those few who think we should all be like them. The "9" year offers a 'live and let live' attitude and respecting everyone's own unique belief system instead of trying to burn them at the stake for it as the religious right has done since 2000. Polygamy and Warren Jeff's are going to finally be going to court and they will judged. Religious males who have more power than most, will take their falls this year as they did in 2008. The Catholic church has been taken to task that many of their priests who are sexual predators in disguise and this will continue to pursued until justice on a higher level is served and the victims get well deserved remuneration.

There can be drama kings and queens this year that pop up from time to time. That is a poor use of "9" energy, but it is there and may well express itself. Bush is a certified drama king and I dare say we'll see more of histrionics and antics this year as the US voters demand he get out of Iraq. His tirades and hissy fits will continue. One hopes without too many taking him seriously.

There are going to be international as well as national social movements take root in the "9" year. This may be a particular philosophy or focus on some humanitarian efforts.

Be aware that if you hold a grudge or want 'pay back' or desire revenge that this is not the year to try it. A "9" year asks us to release whatever happened to us and hand it over in surrender and with FAITH to a higher source who will handle it, instead. We all get into situations where we do the right thing, but our dark twin would love to get even or do something to fight back. 2007 is not the year to go there. Instead, the higher energy of this number asks us to release it. Completely. To step back and step away from it. Let it go. And let the Creator take over and do what should be done. We cannot judge. If we go there, we are no better than before. This "9" energy is about FAITH and developing our faith so that we can let revenge slide and dissolve.

If you are holding on to a situation, a person, place or thing in this year--you can't have it. You're going to have to release it. Because, if you try to be a control freak about it, the opposite will occur. If you know you should move but you refuse too for any number of reasons, your house may be destroyed in a fire, a flood, a hurricane or tornado to force you to move. That is the kind of energy that is around, so don't fight it any longer. Just move on. And have faith that as you move, one door closes but because of your courage and blind faith, another door will open at your new abode or job. Faith and courage are huge in 2007. We need a lot of both. And they are there for us if we only surrender over to a higher power and ask for the help. We will get the support and help that we need--always. Those who move on this blind faith knowing will be richly rewarded in 2007. Those who do not are going to get ashes and a lump of coal in their stocking. As always, the choice is ours. We do have free will choice and if we don't always make a decision for the higher, greater good of ourselves and others, we are going to get a cosmic spanking we aren't soon to forget.

A good ending thought about what a "9" year is all about is: "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." If you can live your life by the Golden Rule for 2007, you are going to be enriched on every level by the end of this year. Guaranteed.

And if you do not, then you will think this has been one of the most nightmare-like years of the last nine you've had to live through. For me, it's an easy choice: take the heart path, take compassion and be a humanitarian, be kind, grateful, gracious and thankful. These are all "9" attributes of the highest kind. The Cosmos doesn't demand perfection from us--only that we TRY to live up to these spiritual ideals on a daily basis the best we can. And everyone can do that.
