I'm late! I'm late! I'm late for a very important date! So says the White Rabbit in Alice in Wonderland. And that applies to me, too. Well, Mercury was retrograde and I'm a Gemini and so, late I am. With apologies, let's get to the month of MARCH, 2007!

MARCH: An Agent of CHANGE

If you were looking for change in your life, well, in March, you have four opportunities to do just that! For some folks, CHANGE is a big, scary word that foretells the 'end of the world' for them. For others, it is an opportunity to make needed tweaks in our superstructure as a human being. Depending upon your 'take' about CHANGE, March is either going to sum up to be a spectacular dive off the plank into the Cosmic soup of the Galactic Center experience or you'll feel like you're walking off the plank of a pirate ship with the sharks circling below you.

Numerologically, this is a '3' universal month. That is the energy of creation. Quite literally. It is also a Cosmic Dim-Sum plate with lots of goodies to choose from for all of us! It is a birthing time for us, too. On some level: be it physically giving birth, emotional birthing, mental birthing of ideas, or spiritual birthing of transcending our old self in favor of a newer, better model than before. Surely, this month is a treasure chest for each of us. It's just a question of where our focus is at. And speaking of focus... let's talk eclipse energy!

With that entry about March, let's look at specifics. We don't even get three days into March, when we have a full moon lunar eclipse at 13 Virgo 00. There is an article up about this so check it out. The first three days people's emotions are on 'boil' and so you are going to be dealing with folks who are overwhelmed emotionally. If you are too, this is an awful period because it just exacerbates you and your own personal world. If you are not, then it is far easier to allow these people their 'storms' of emotions and you aren't going to take it personally as you might, if you were in the other camp of the emotionally overwhelmed. Eclipses, by their nature, are a flashlight being snapped on in the dark room of our interior Self. It shows us where we have work to do. It shows us our wound(s) or a situation where we've drawn it into us so we can grow and mature through the process--no matter how painful and excruciating it might be. Case in point: Libby, who was the Vice-President's chief of staff was indicted on four counts of lying. The Jury, who took ten days to come to their judgment, popped it on March 5, two days after the eclipse. Maybe those inside the Beltway will 'get it' that their gossipy little dark cornered meetings aren't right morally, nor does it have integrity and the laws of our land say it is wrong. Let's see if the politicos of both parties get this because the eclipse certainly shined a light in the dark, back room politicking that goes on no matter whose in office.

On March 7th, we have Mercury going direct. Hooray! Needless to say, we can now leap forward and get some new work done. The last three weeks have been one of redoing or revising or re--something in our lives whether personal or professional. Travel will also, finally, straighten out. Of course, Jet Blue will be the happiest about this and really, Jet Blue ought to hire a good astrologer to let them know about these delay possibilities. If they had, they wouldn't have made the bad decisions on February 14th and left people on the tarmac up to 10 hours! That is ridiculous but that's Mercury retrograde in action for you--the right hand doesn't know what the left one is doing, communication is a snafu and no one is talking to the right people at the right time. You have to feel very sorry for those folks stuck in Jet Blue for that many ungodly hours.

With the last quarter phase of the moon at 21 Sagittarius on March 11th--the same time DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME begins (early this year) begins the shadow a second Eclipse of the month. This is the Solar Eclipse, a New Moon at 28 Pisces. Please see the article that has been written on this to find out the details of what it means. New Moon is always a time of NEW things. New ideas, new seeds, new creativity, new emotions, new experiences... anything NEW is in the air. With the eclipse going on the 'shadow week' before it takes on a more powerful air than usual. Expect a lot of projects that have been delayed or dragging around, to suddenly POP and become active! If you have a project you've been working on and it's gotten no attention from your bosses, it will now. And this seems to be a pretty perky eclipse with a lot of potential goodness being sprinkled around like Cosmic fairy dust to one and all. So, pay attention to this week, who walks into your life, what is offered and give it serious merit and thought. Of course, DO look a gift horse in the mouth! There are plenty of gifts coming from this eclipse and I hope you all get something lovely from it. Expect nothing... receive everything...

Don't forget, St. Patrick's day is on the 17th. We have Venus going into Taurus that day, so I think they'll be some heavy celebrating--especially with wine and good foods since the Queen of Gourmet (Venus) is moving into her own sign, Taurus (the Cosmic Gourmand). It's a great day to take a loved one out for dinner--food ought to be priceless.

Also, from March 17 through March 30th we are in the "shadow" of Pluto going retrograde. Please see my article that is up to read more about the details of what this means. Pluto is the god of transformation, so these two weeks before it goes retrograde are like setting a 100 pound weight above your head. You can literally feel this energy around. If you don't like your life as it is now, with Pluto going retrograde on March 31st, you'll get some changes, don't worry.

And this energy, the second half of March is what scares people who don't want to change, who cling to their fixed rut as if their life depends up on it. I got news, folks: the ONLY thing we can count on consistently in our lives from the first breath we take until the last breath IS CHANGE. If you watch Nature and Mom Earth nothing is every quiet, still or unchanging. Just the opposite. And we are supposed to mirror this, although many people, especially fixed signs of Taurus, Scorpio, Leo and Aquarius, really hate making even a tweak of a change. So, they are the signs who are most impacted by Pluto going retrograde because it does mean change--for all twelve signs--regardless.

March 20th we have the Spring Equinox! Celebrate one of Mom Earth's four birthdays every year (2 equinoxes, 2 solstices). The Spring energy is powerful and of course, it is coming two days after the new moon eclipse (new energy in and of itself), so this equinox has a SUPER BOOST to it. This entire week of the 19th through the 23rd is just chock full of goodies for people in any career. It also means a time of changing our own attitudes and emotions--throwing out the heavy energy that no longer works for us to leave room for light energy to move in and make us feel better and in more harmony than before. Take BIG advantage of this week. Work with your heart chakra--opening it up and allowing the energy of the Great Spirit or whomever you believe in--to coming through to you and to where ever you see this energy blanketed. Love is definitely in the air on all levels--whether it is sexual, friendships, or agape. I believe this will be a very joyful week and a time of excellent release work with ourselves, so try to meditate daily, take a walk in Nature or do something where you can be quiet to 'tune in' to what is out there for you.

The First Quarter Moon is on March 25th at 4 Cancer, so again, 'new seeds' and inspiration are really focused on Cancer and Capricorn sun sign people. Be on the look out for new situations, new friends, new contacts or new developments to come up the week of 26th-30th for you.

And, as if to boost this 'new' energy, Pluto goes retrograde on March 31st. Everything that has been amping up since March 3rd with the Lunar eclipse, then Cosmic step-by-step with Mercury going direct, the next step, Venus going into Taurus on the 17th, the next step, New Moon Eclipse on the 18th, the next step, the Spring equinox on the 20th, then the first quarter moon, on the 25th, you can see the staircase in the sky setting up the energy for us to take advantage of.

The culmination, of course, is Pluto going retrograde. So many NEW developments are taking place in March that really, we have to have time to digest, masticate and absorb it all. With Pluto easing off its heavy energy from March-early September, 2007, we get just that--a reprieve to absorb all the things that are popping up for us to take advantage of during the month of March. It's a helluva roller coaster ride, but I believe it is going to be a very fruitful one, rich with spiritual inroads being made into each of us and heart chakra energy being the focal point of it all.
