August 2006
This is a month of spiritual development, if you choose to utilize the energy this way. Or, it is certainly a month of education and learning about something specific. If you are taking a workshop or seminar in this time frame, you may find it, quite literally, life changing. For those who want to deepen and expand their personal meditation and continue to develop their inner journey, this is the month for you. I would suggest that if you can find time, to meditate daily in August for twenty minutes. You will find it transformative in the best of ways.
Pluto is now two degrees in retrograde from the Galactic Center and this continues to give us a breather from what was started early in the year. Lessons are being learned but at a more leisurely pace rather than being thrown like a pie in our face, before. Pluto is still in opposition to Hades, so people's structures as they knew them, are dissolving and changing. This isn't a bad thing, although it can appear to be at the time. Part of being here is about adapting and changing and evolving. That's why we come into a life/reincarnation. Those most affected continue to be Sagittarians and Gemini folks.
On August 8 there is a fantastically lucky and fortunate aspect between Mars and Jupiter. This is a good day to receive awards or acclaim for work you have been doing. Also, an upbeat day filled with an avalanche of hope.
From August 11-15th we are in an 'accident' axis with Mars opposite Uranus. Unfortunately, this can mean airline crashes or disasters. Do not fly during this time frame unless you must. Even driving in a car is going to be dicey and the key to avoiding accidents is staying alert (and NOT be talking on a cell phone while driving because with this aspect, it will get you and you'll be sorry you didn't pull over, stop the car, to chat instead).
Our luck changes dramatically from the 12-31st with Jupiter trine Uranus. Those who like playing the lotto may well want to buy a ticket now, but the luckiest ones will be Scorpio and Pisces folks. Still, the Economy is going to get a solid boost and stock prices could suddenly zoom upward at a dizzying rate. This is a time of 'aha's' on a personal level, so pay attention to sudden hunches or intuition--it could work out very well for you. This is certainly a 'gift' from the Cosmos after our murky winter/spring period, so enjoy this respite and revel in play.
Mars is in a snit on the 30th and this isn't going to be a pleasant day for many. Ruling over belligerence, anger, firearms, explosions and road rage, this fiery planet is in a nasty aspect with Pluto and the Galactic Center, so we may see a world leader in the news at this time. For the rest of us, drive carefully.

August 12 a good time for travel with no delays and even pleasant seat partners.
August 16 Emotionally satisfying day where things get done and you feel good about the progress made.
August 21 A wonderful day for meditation. Don't sign contracts on this day because you won't see the whole picture.
August 25 Road ragers abound. People are irritable and impatient. Stay detached so you're not drawn into their dramas.
August 28 You are focused and intense. A day to get a lot done. Communications and multitasking take primary importance.
