INITIATION: AT THE HEART LEVEL

If you have felt like the world has collapsed in on you, or you have made amazing awareness' (what I call 'aha's!') in the past two weeks, this is not surprising. We are in the 'shadow' period of Pluto going retrograde on March 29, 2006 at 26 Sagittarius 45 minutes. The shadow period occurs two weeks prior to such a shift of a powerful planet. From March 15, 2006, onward to March 28, 2006, we are all going to have Pluto working with us--big time. Your life is in the process of being upended, or you got a huge surprise and gift of incredible and unexpected proportions, then transiting Pluto is definitely in your life and stirring the pot.

But even more important, Pluto is conjunct the Galactic Center (GC) where the 'heart' of our spiral armed galaxy is at. This occurs once every 247 years as Pluto orbits around our sun and touches the heart of our galaxy. We are in the perfect spot at the perfect moment to not only receive communion with the heart of our galaxy home, but also to heal our own wounded hearts with the release of energy that will occur with this planet going retrograde.

Add to that, this is occurring on a New Moon Eclipse on March 29, 2006, too! Talk about POWER! WOW! DOUBLE WOW! This is BIG, folks. A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to take advantage of the magical sprinkle of fairy dust from the heart of our galaxy and to absorb it directly into our own heart. This is a gift of Cosmic proportion,there is no doubt. And only good, positive things can come from this momentous astronomical alignment and aspects if you want to take part in it. And, as always, it is a free will choice. But I don't know who would walk away from a healing gift like this.

We have an amazing gift coming our way--one that is offered only once every 247 years. It is an initiation to the heart level as a human being. That means that you have the choice and capability of moving from your lower chakras (eye for an eye, wars, selfishness, narcissism, disempowerment of others, FEAR based life, prejudice, hatred, intolerance, greed, victimization, and all the rest of human unhealthy characteristics and emotions/attitudes...) to the heart level where these traits dissolve in the gold-white light of LOVE from the Cosmos that is there for our taking. What a shift!! We are six years into a 12 year Mayan chaos called "the end of Time." In Revelations in the Bible, they also refer to it as "the end of time," too. No matter what religion or belief system you hold, since 2001 we have entered into the gauntlet of what I call the "Dark Night of Our Collective Soul" here on Earth.

Now, we can either botch this trip and sink to our lower chakras where we are right now, or we can expend a tremendous effort to pull ourselves up, one human at at a time, by our collective bootstraps and move into our HEART. If we do this, then compassion/love will disintegrate FEAR which is what is holding this world captive right now. Pluto going retrograde in the heart of our Galactic Center is going to show us how to disentangle ourselves from the FEAR based reality and move into our heart where hope, faith, trust, peace, goodwill, tolerance, patience and so many of our positive human attributes live. And they will flourish instead of have FEAR as our constant companion. Pluto is the white knight on the black horse galloping toward us to aid and support us to make this INITIATORY leap into our heart chakra and turn darkness into light. To turn war into peace. To turn hatred into love. To turn intolerance into tolerance. To turn prejudice into acceptance of all, regardless of skin color, gender, or nationality or belief system. This is the opportunity coming our way. MARCH 2006 is one of the most exciting months of the year! I hope you take full advantage of this treasure chest of gifts coming our way shortly.

Only those who have suppressed/repressed or ignored their wounds and CHOOSE to splice in unhealthy emotions, instead, will bear the full brunt of this day and it won't be comfortable for them at all.

WHO IS AFFECTED BY PLUTO GOING RETROGRADE?

Who does Pluto affect? If you know your chart and what the glyphs mean OR if you know a professional astrologer who can help you to find out, here's who is affected by conjunction, Sagittarius folks. And by opposite sign, Gemini people:

SAGITTARIAN PEOPLE AFFECTED BY THIS

Anyone born between December 15th through the 21st of ANY year will be affected (you all have Sun in Sagittarius). Those most directly affected are those born on December 18th when their Sun is at 26 degrees Sagittarius, which is where Pluto is at now, and will turn retrograde on it. Any SAGITTARIUS, however, is going to be affected by this. It's just a question of what intensity it will be, is all. You lucky ducks, you! You're sitting in the cat bird seat! You, of all people, have the most availability of this energy to do the greatest healing of yourselves than anyone else! This is such an exciting time for you!

GEMINI PEOPLE AFFECTED BY THIS

By opposite sign, Gemini, those born between June 14th through 20th, will be affected. Those Gemini's most affected will be those born on June 17th, when the Sun was at 26 degree Gemini, directly opposite of where transiting Pluto is turning retrograde. Any GEMINI, however, is going to be affected by this. It's just a question of what intensity it will be, is all. Oh, you have worked so hard, Gemini, for the past decade on cleaning up your own internal acts, trying to be aware of your wounds and working to heal them. Well, with the opposition, you get a chance of a lifetime! You are going to receive the appropriate gift for all this inner work on yourselves. The gift will be exactly duplicate of the work you've put in--and you will receive it back as a reward for not ignoring or turning away from your own inner construction work with yourself. Lucky you! But it is a hard work gift earned. Well earned, I must say!

DO YOU HAVE A PLANET AT 26 DEGREES? LUCKY YOU!!!!

If you have ANY planet, or your ascendant or Midheaven at 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28 or 29 degrees, you'll be positively affected. With bulls eye center on 26 degrees, of course. Those who have signs in Aries, Leo, Libra or Aquarius will either have a sextile or trine to transiting Pluto turning retrograde and healthy things will most likely be occurring to you; or at least, shall we say, opportunities will open up to you. One thing for sure, if you have ANY planet(s) at any of these degrees--you ARE directly affected by this coming heart initiation. The fact that you have transiting Pluto stirring up your personal Pot of Life, is enough to write an article on. I don't want to dwell on soft vs. hard aspects, or good vs. bad, or positive vs. negative, because I've seen, time and again, people who have the kitchen sink thrown at them come out fighting and make mud pies out the mud thrown at them. And I've also seen people who are given carte blanche on something cringe back for whatever reason and NOT take the opportunity! My slant and perspective, then, is how to work with the Pluto energy so that you can land on your feet and take advantage of the opportunity coming your way.

Because there is no doubt, opportunity is knocking and will NOT be ignored.

AN IMPORTANT QUESTION TO ASK YOU:

If I asked you: Do you want to win a million dollar lottery? And all you have to do is play it? Would you do that? Of course you sign up to play!

A ONCE-IN-A-LIFETIME GIFT OFFERED TO YOU....WILL YOU TAKE IT???

What is in the offing shortly is a miracle Cosmic Event that's going to take place on March 29, 2006. Pluto is not only conjunct the HEART of our Galaxy, but will retrograde on it and then it will be fueled by a powerful New Moon Eclipse on the same day at 8 Aries. Further, we will have just experienced the Spring Equinox on March 20th, but Mercury going direct on March 25th, in preparation for this magical, healing event that will be catalyzed by Pluto going retrograde. This is going to be a release of such healing, wonderful heart level energy that I hope everyone in the world will sit down, quietly, for 20 minutes on that day, go into a meditative state, ground themselves, to receive this Cosmic blessing and healing. It is also a Cosmic INITIATION of the highest order; the most profound of all if you want to take advantage of it and I hope you do.

And of course, by Pluto going retrograde, he is catalyzing this by triggering it with his transforming nature to all of us. And since this is occurring on a retrograde it means we have TIME not only to receive this gift, but absorb, digest and make it our own during this five month time frame. Lucky us! Those of us who want to receive this magical gift will have five months to seat it within ourselves, adjust our feelings/emotions to this heart opening and get it strongly situated within ourselves for the rest of our lives. WOW!

In the course of this article, I'm going to tell you HOW to take advantage of this gift that is coming your way. Keep reading!

We all know that Pluto just doesn't take "no" for an answer. Never did and never will. If you've been slowly, since it has been moving forward through the sign of Sagittarius (and Gemini's are equally affected here....so if you see me write "Sag" later on, just mentally add: Gemini to it, too), making changes in your little chrysalis called "you" or "home", then this retrograde isn't going to kick you all over the Cosmos.

However, if you're one of these people (Sagittarius or Gemini) whose been resisting mightily, digging in your heels, and have not changed due to FEAR over some "thing", then you are in for a big life change--abruptly and transformatively speaking.

As an example, I have my natal South Node at 21 Sagittarius in the 10th house, and transiting Pluto is opposite of it and conjunct my natal North Node. I'm a Plutonian by nature and I can speak more closely to the 'bone' about Pluto than perhaps others can. I've seen Pluto energy up end my life as I knew it, turn me a hundred and eighty degrees in the opposite direction and push me off thataway, in an instant. I've seen Pluto open me up deeply, layer by layer, and allow me the privilege of scoping out my own little treasure house that resides in each person (I call this Pandora's Box), and it has helped me to empower myself over time. And with it playing over my node contacts, guaranteed I am going to be dealing with people coming and going out of my life like a revolving door with Pluto sitting there emphasizing it. Pluto will remove associates from me that is their time to go. Pluto will add new people to my life, or old contacts that will be renewed, during this period. The wisest course for me is to stay flexible and surrender this whole "merry-go-round" to the planet and abide by the gains and losses of associates during this time period.

And, even better, my Ascendant is 27 Leo, so I'm receiving a trine from Pluto conjunct the Galactic Center right now. My heart opening is coming through the people I know because that is what the Ascendant symbolizes--the people in and around your life at work/home and play. I am looking for others to be my gift, my teaching and my teachers so that I can maximize my heart chakra and practicing my compassion.

One thing I can say about Pluto that is a truism: IF you try to make the necessary changes that Life is asking of you on a personal level for your own health (spirit, mental, emotional), it will never harm you. Instead, Pluto is like a big, nurturing mama hen in the Sky cosseting you, supporting you in your baby steps towards transformation, and only good things occur as a result.

However, I can say, from experience, that if we allow our FEAR to direct our steps, imprison us, and tell us where to go, instead of listening to that deep, inner voice and well within us (that is Pluto at its finest--our subconscious voice, our Pandora's Box where all our hopes, dreams, aspirations, wishes and vision of a future are like little seeds waiting to be planted and grow....) then Pluto will inexorably push you right over that cliff and you're going to go into a free fall until you land right side up on your feet where you NEED to be vs. where you THOUGHT you should be!

Pluto's whole demeanor is about CHANGE. Now, you can opt to have change out of transformation gently, step-by-step, or through CHAOS. It's your choice. Pluto doesn't mind doing it one way or the other, frankly. I can tell you that to save yourself a lot of pain, do it the butterfly way--keep cracking that hard, armored chrysalis that surrounds you (it surrounds all of us, more or less) so that you can begin to unfurl your butterfly wings and eventually, fly free to be yourself. After all, Pluto's whole intent is to get you in touch with your individualize SELF. And so many of us fear ourselves and what we don't know or realize/recognize about ourselves--so we entrench, we fight back, we refuse to budge.

Good news, bad news....because Pluto doesn't take "no" for an answer. Those affected on this retrograde are being given a second chance to "come clean" and make the changes that Pluto is asking of you. This retrograde period lasts from March 29th through September 4, 2006 (where it turns direct at 24 Sagittarius). This is a not-so-subtle warning to those of you affected, to make the changes NOW, because when Pluto turns direct and furrows over the same degrees a few months later, all hell will break loose in your life, if you haven't.

I have found in the past by observing transits of Pluto (believe me, I have a vested interest in this, since this planet "runs" my life this lifetime for me....) that what has happened thus far to the people above who are affected, that some things, questions, decisions, have been slowly but surely brought to your awakening consciousness. And for whatever reason, you're not ready to leap out of the nest and fly and make those changes.

Okay...no problem. Pluto is going retrograde, and is going to ease off you between March and September, 2006, and let you feel your way through all this information and conscious awareness in your life. It will continue to stimulate you on the deep, uncharted territory of your subconscious, so pay attention to your dreams and meditations during this time frame, too--for there are answers, maps and ways out of whatever dilemma or back-against-the-wall experience you're having presently.

Just because the pressure is off and/or easing, don't ever mistake that everything is going to calm down, dissipate and go away. You couldn't make a worse mistake with Pluto and Plutonian energy! It's giving you time to feel and think and make the CHANGES. The changes will come between March and September, 2006.

For example, let's say that the last couple of months, your job sucks. You've been given more responsibility, no pay raise, and you're expected to work longer hours--not to mention, weekends! This leaves a bad taste in your mouth. You want a life. You have a family. You want to pursue your hobbies. Pluto puts the restlessness, the dislike, the ill-at-ease feelings every time you go to work--and it's been building until you're ready to walk off the job. And then, it goes retrograde in March. Things seem to ease and you think that maybe it will turn around--it won't, so don't fool yourself.

What Pluto is doing is giving you a breather from this "hand of God/Goddess" or this Bulldozer, to think about a PLAN OF ACTION that you're going to put into working order once it goes direct! So, you see, Pluto is very simple and straight forward about its energy. PLAN! You are going to have so much HELP from the Galactic Center and that Aries New Moon Eclipse that this will be easy to do!

That means, you must move FORWARD, not entrench, not stay the SAME. It means making choices and having the guts to put them into action. And guts is something most of us, viscerally, don't usually have a lot of. We usually think: I can't do that....I can't quit this job.... We get "guts" by being thrown from the frying pan into the fire by Pluto if we refuse to plan and initiate. So, the choice is ours. Do we fly out of our situation/nest on our own, or do you wait until Pluto comes, like a juggernaut, rolling down at you so that you have to leap out--without a PLAN.

You know, Pluto starts with a "P". So does, interestingly enough, "P"! No coincidence there! There's a great Marine Corps saying called the 5 P's: prior planning prevents piss-poor performance.

That's Pluto's motto and tour-de-force. Let's see, another good saying for Pluto is: "No guts, no glory." Pluto is, after all, visceral. It is our old brain, the limbic brain, the animal brain. The survivalist. The scrounger. The scratcher and claw-er. And you must plug into these very old and never outdated animal survival senses and get right within you what is wrong and then make a plan to fix it.

Pluto, by its own good graces and amazing patience, is going to give you a second chance to create a plan come March 29th. So use the time wisely. Don't refuse to budge. Instead see this as a golden opportunity to grow, transform or move on some level of yourself (and this may be physically, mental attitude, emotional wounds getting some healing or spiritual renovation work).

There are some of you who will graciously make changes on March 29th--you're ready, so fly! Pluto usually will go direct and retrograde 3 to 5 times over one position or degree. Those who are "stuck" and afraid to move or make a plan, will have it at least three to five times. But I can tell you the end of all of this. If you refuse to change/move/transform, by the LAST PASS of transiting Pluto over that position in your chart, Pluto will do it for you. And it won't be pretty. In fact, it will be visceral. And you will be thrown into survival mode of the harshest, most painful kind.

Why chance it? Why not move/transform/grow now, incrementally, with each pass of Pluto, rather than be dragged kicking and screaming to the changes that are really for your own benefit and health of well being? Why do we resist so much that which is really good for us, but we can't see it because we're so filled with fear? Even the Delphi Oracle would shake her head on us. Thanks to Pluto, it will not allow this kind of situation to go on forever.

USING THE Vesica Piscis SYMBOL TO MAKE THE MOST OF YOUR PLUTO INITIATION!

I believe we live in one of the most important times in the last 247 years (the last time Pluto conjuncted the GC/Galaxy Center). It is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and we were lucky enough to program a lifetime for right now to take advantage of this mass spiritual initiation that is here, for all of us--if we want to grab for the brass ring and go for it. Here's HOW you can go for it.

I wrote probably one of the most important articles in my life in February/2006. Here is part of it. The part about how to USE the Vesica Piscis double circle and 'eye' so that you can INCREASE your chances of using this coming initiatory energy that will stream like light from the heart of God/Great Spirit (or whomever you believe in) toward US. This is an incredible GIFT coming our way. Here's how I am going to be preparing to absorb as much of it as I can--and maybe this way and 'tool' may resonate deeply within you to try it out, too. USING SOME STRING...

Sometimes, people like to make things complex when simple will do. And this is basic and simple and anyone can do it. All you need is a ball of red yarn (or your favorite color). Or, just plain string. I prefer yarn because it is easier to handle and has some weight to it. But, if you're on a tight budget, some plain old white string from any store will do. You need to cut two sixteen feet (16') lengths of yarn/string. The reason is that each string is going to make one circle large enough for you to stand within. And you need two strings to make two circles that will overlap one another.

I know you probably think this sounds crazy but before you make a judgment, test it out. Science was built upon trying something and then repeating the experiment. And if you want to prove this doesn't work, you need to try it to do that.

MAKING TWO INTERLOCKING CIRCLES OUT OF STRING

I would try this inside a house or structure rather than out in Nature (although if you don't have enough room inside, go out to your lawn, instead). Take one piece of red yarn and create a circle out of it, making sure the ends are touching and connecting.

Next, take the second string and create a second circle. But this time, make sure that half (or less) of the second circle overlaps the first circle. There should be a 'fish' or 'eye' that is created as this yarn intersects one another. Congratulations! You have just created the Vesica Piscis symbol!

TESTING THE Vesica Piscis

There are some rules to the road in utilizing the Vesica Piscis (VP). First, step into one of the outer circles (either side) of the double circle, but not into the 'fish' or 'eye' area. When you get into the single circle area, ground yourself (see silver tree roots gently twining around your ankles and the tip of the root going down through each of your feet and several hundred feed down into Mother Earth), close your eyes and bend your knees slightly (we call this 'soft knees'). Take two or three deep breaths down into your abdomen and out your mouth. Stand there for a minute or two and see what happens.

Next, open your eyes and step OUT of the single circle. Go to either end of the 'lens/eye/fish' and step into it. Close your eyes, soften your knees, take a couple of nice, deep breaths. Then, see what happens.

Many people experience many sensations in the eye . You can suddenly be pulled forward until you feel like you're going to tip over your toes and fall. Or, you can feel pulled backward to the point where you think you're going to fall over. Or, you may feel a strong pull from your left or right shoulder. It may seem that you're doing what I call, 'adjusting' by moving one way or another. This adjustment is about getting your aura or energy field, back into balance and harmony. Once that is accomplished in the eye, you then can experience an incredible amount of things.

Some people see a color or two. Others see a person, sometimes, their Master or spirit guide or a loved one that has passed over. Or, some will hear music, or their hearing will be sharpened and accentuated. Words, sentences or instructions may be given. Other times, places, incarnations or your home planet may be shown to you. No two people will ever have the same experience because they are uniquely different.

What is the point of working in the eye of the VP? This is a way to access our own integration process, clean out our dirty laundry within us (our wounds/negative emotions, ect.), and heal yourself. When you sit and meditate in the eye, this is one of the most profound experiences you can have.

The VP is about healing. And opening up. Don't be surprised if your heart chakra flies open and you feel tremendous love pouring down through you. As you are filled up with this love from the Universe, you, in turn, can give to others. It is a win-win situation.

PLUTO RETROGRADE AND THE Vesica Piscis SYMBOL--getting the most out of this initiation energy coming our way....

Depending upon what time zone you are in around the world, the energy will be coming to you and available at THAT TIME. So, check the day and time for where you live. When you know that info, then create your double circle and SIT or LIE DOWN in the 'eye' where the circles overlap one another. Make your 'eye' large enough for your entire body to be in it if you're lying down. If you're sitting up, cross legged or sitting in a chair in the 'eye' you need less room available. Close your eyes, take a few deep breaths, relax and open/visualize your heart and the golden/white light of the Galaxy Center streaming from it's throbbing core, through space, to you and coming down through the top of your head (crown chakra) and then filling your heart. Watch what happens next--it's going to be powerful, beautiful, healing and spiritually uplifting. You will receive your INITIATION.

If you have a meditation technique, then use that. But please, before you do, be sure to GROUND yourself because this energy streaming from the core of our beautiful white/gold spiral armed galaxy packs a punch and you want to be able to receive what you can from it and 'ground' the rest through you, down through your body, into your legs and feet and back into Mother Earth so that she, too, receives the gift from you, as well. Otherwise, if you try to sit the Vesica Piscis without grounding, you will be so dizzy and spacey and spaced out for hours afterward it will probably take a good night's sleep to readjust from the energy that coursed through you.

HELP TO MAKE THE MOST OUT OF PLUTO RETROGRADE

We do not go through life alone, although I know, many times, it sure feels that way. If you could realize that Great Spirit is always with you, and that you have an army of guides (guardian angels to some) that are there, too, you aren't alone. There are many 'tools' out there to help increase your evolutionary rate and to take advantage of such a special release of energy that is coming our way shortly.

I don't believe we have to SUFFER (at all) through a retrograde or direct period. The people below are, in my opinion, the best in their particular business and are skillful catalysts to help people to help themselves. Check out this group and choose which tools resonate most strongly with you and contact them. You won't be sorry you did!
