MENOPAUSE ORCHID FLOWER ESSENCE

Menopause OrchidLATIN: Phalaenopsis 920030

GOOD FOR: Addresses three main areas of menopause symptoms: migraine headaches, hot flashes and formication or the sensation of bugs crawling across one's skin. Helps in most menopausal symptoms including hot flashes and headaches.

DID YOU KNOW:

To say the least, you are a mental giant. You think a lot--maybe too much. Your mind is sharp, curious, quick to jump and make up your mind about something. You do very well in academic surroundings. And you're good at memorizing things. Able to learn in classroom situations, you are a "book learner" type. Verbal by nature, you can communicate well in speaking as well as writing. Your world consists of using logic and rationalization. A prove-it-to-me kind of person.

THE HEALTHY YOU:

You're a gut-hunch kind of person whether you realize it or not. A lot of your decisions are based upon primal instinct which may or may not even tweak you consciously. However, you're a wonderful amalgam of rational mind (left brain) and right brain (instincts and intuition) IF you want to be. If you are truly in balance, you become very "whole-brained", utilizing both hemispheres of your brain to a very high degree. Not only can you know the answer to an Algebra problem before doing the math on it, you can also do the math to prove how you know the answer! That's a pretty neat trick!

THE UNHEALTHY YOU:

Insomnia can dog your heels because you are the one that gets the "gerbil running on the wheel" at night, and you can't shut off your thoughts. They just keep rolling along even though you'd like some sleep! You can get dogged, stuck and very stiff-necked about your belief system. Worse, you will be arrogant about it and you're right and the rest of the world is wrong. It's "my way or no way...." kind of blinders-on attitude. The old saying: You are cut off from the neck down, implies that you allow your logic and rational to rule you and you suppress your emotions--not a good thing in the long run!

So far in the 2 week, Stage 3 provings, there is one flower essence that shows great promise from preliminary findings:

1. Woman Prover #1 experienced needle-like, hot sensations around the nipples of her breasts and this lasted 5 minutes. She got 'hot' feet at night. Her feet became sore and achy. Her bowel movements became better (she usually had hard stools, but this essence softened them considerably). Her breasts were 'sore' off and on throughout the 2-week proving. She also had a pressing down sensation in her uterus. She found that by being on this essence, her PMS symptoms or irritability, anger, nerves decreased remarkably to the point where she felt nothing more than 'calmness'. She also reported, as she had two huge migraine headaches with this essence.

2. Woman Prover #2 She also experienced hot flashes with this essence. There was sweating with the hot flash. It was better: outdoors, in the breeze. And she had cravings for salty/fat things (like potato chips, pretzels, etc.). She had a headache--bursting, dull sensation at the top (vertex) of her head. and another type of headache that started at the back of the head and moved up to the top of it and then to the back, once again. She had skin itching off and on for hours. And of course, in menopause, some women get 'formication' which feels like insects crawling under or on top of their skin.

3. Woman Prover #3 had prickly itching on her legs, which was intermittent and she said: "itches on legs like insects" and reminiscent of 'formication' that menopausal women may encounter. Her vagina was itchy, slight discharge. She felt clammy and flushed from time to time--but no perspiration associated with it.

4. Woman Prover #4 experienced migraine headaches: base of skull, to temples. It was described as a dull ache. Nothing she did helped stop it (like resting or sleeping). She experienced hot flashes of : nervousness, perspiring, sense of hurry and unable to do things fast enough. She had chocolate cravings. Many times, when she took the essence, she would immediately feel 'nervous and perspiring'. Both can be associated with hot flashes.

COMMENTS ABOUT THE PROVING SYMPTOMS

Not every woman gets migraine headaches, formication, hot flashes through menopause--the percentages vary. One may be headache prone; another hot flash prone, or another, have the formication problem.

This, I feel, will become a powerful menopausal remedy based upon the preliminary findings of our 2-week provings. A simple, breath taking orchid! At this point, we are asking women who are buying it to get back to us with how it helps their menopausal symptoms which will be used as continued anecdotal evidence of what it helps and how it helps them.

As your comments come in, they will be posted with this webpage, so that other women who are suffering through menopausal symptoms, can see how this flower essence helps alleviate such discomfort.
