They just keep rolling along even though you'd like some sleep! You can get dogged, stuck and very stiff-necked about your belief system. Worse, you will be arrogant about it and you're right and the rest of the world is wrong. It's "my way or no way...." kind of blinders-on attitude. 1. Petal Color(s), Shape, How Many: Ten petals, alternating medium purple with lighter purple-to-white on top - green underneath - over petals, radially symmetrical crown of many (100+) hair-like segments of deep purple in center, striped w/white, to a lighter purple at ends, of up to 2" long

3. a) Stamens (How Many, Color, Shape, Size): Five large (1/2" across) anthers - bright yellow - tops draping over toward bloom w/underneath facing out towards sun - filaments are creamy yellow w/many irregular purple specs

b) Pistil: One, setting/displayed on pedestal - surrounded by stamen w/three stigma on long, green style - draping over toward bloom w/underneath facing out towards sun. Ovary: One between stamen and pistil - egg-shaped, melon-like - light creamy yellow - densely filled with many tiny seeds of same color - firm

FLOWER ATTUNEMENT MESSAGE: Initial Impression: Happy, joyous ladies of the afternoon - An honest joy that isn't put on - Very deep, complex and ultimately simple beings - Big, broad smiles - Glittery (Uranus). After 30 minutes: We are rich and deep and often mistaken by outer world values - Vines reaching out to make a difference - Strong sense of self-worth. 6. Other: The prominence of the pistil and stamen bring attention to our core creative energy (kundalini) and other forms of its expression through sexuality. New understanding and balance can be brought to this intense, Scorpionic energy. There is no shame to this plant's sexual expression. Through it's vigorous growth each year, it lives up to its potential before dying back to the ground each winter. It manifests fire energy. This essence may promote proper assimilation of food that give the body energy. The common thread to transformation, growth, change and accomplishments is the shifts in perception when accessing the higher mind. This plant strongly represents the spiritual, mental and physical. There is, however, an imbalance of water. It is draught-tolerant, yet wilts quickly when cut from plant. This may point to the importance in learning to trust one's psychic abilities and to addressing/healing the emotional impact of dysfunctional/old family programming.

Not until days later, when I was formalizing this proving information, did I realize that I had totally overlooked journeying into the leaves of this plant. Since its five-lobed leaves indicate that it is naturalized from Asia, it resonates that either the three- or five-lobed varieties manifest the same healing properties.
