LATIN: Helianthus annuus
GOOD FOR: Excellent for depression. Gives hope to the hopeless. Sheds light in our own particular darkness. Brings light into our inner darkness and despair.
DID YOU KNOW:
You are an earthy person, practical, no-nonsense and straight forward. Bluntness is preferred, although some people may think you rude with your plain spoken manners. You have a rigid belief system that works for you. Opinionated, people consider you conservative.
THE HEALTHY YOU:
Loving the earth, you have concern for it and are ecologically oriented. The great outdoors stimulates your creativity and ideas. Getting your hands into the soil and growing plants inspires you. You learn best and are able to express yourself best through "hand's on" kinds of training. Vocational schooling can bring out your true skills where you will shine. You are a person who loves to work with your hands, whether building a house, sculpting clay or creating an empire one brick at a time. The type to tinker and tweak, you are indispensable in fixing simple and complicated gadgets. Going to school is boring to you. Although you are quite intelligent, your tastes do not run toward academia unless you can use it in the every day world. You prefer common sense and practical training, instead. You are not good in a classroom where there is a lot of memorization. Easily bored in school if it is too academic and not enough hands training being employed, you will not learn much. You do well at a vocational type of schooling and learning.
THE UNHEALTHY YOU:
Once you get your mind made up--that's it! There's no room for compromise in you. While this may help you in many avenues of your life, when it comes to relationships, you are sure to hit a brick wall because all are based on a give-and-take kind of basis. You dig your heels in. Sometimes its due to stiff-necked pride, and the rest is what you believe is not open to any options or changes by anyone or any thing. Being diplomatic isn't your forte' for sure and your not mincing words can get you into a lot of hot water with others. At work, where social patter is warranted (and you disdain cocktail kind of games) you won't make many friends. If you have political aspirations, you need to learn how to become a steel hand in a velvet glove instead of taking no prisoners and mincing no words.
