BEARDED YELLOW IRIS

While testing is ongoing regarding the Bearded Yellow Iris, one of the major findings we've stumbled into by doing provings, is that this incredible bulb plant, a harbinger of Spring, has a profound effect on Pterygium, an EYE condition.

One of our provers, a woman, has Pterygium; which are fleshy tumors that grow on the eyeball itself. This condition only worsens with time--and more and more tumors proliferate across the eyeball, eventually blinding the person for life.

Our prover noted that while she was on the Bearded Yellow Iris, her Pterygium began to retreat--rapidly. Within the first week of the proving, they shrunk and by the second week, they were nearly nonexistent.

Pterygiums are small white, opaque growths that occur on the eyeball. Mine are on the inside edge of the iris on both the left and right side (the right side is larger). They are pretty small - maybe an eighth of an inch in diameter. They are white to yellow in color and slightly transparent. When my eyes are irritated they get pinkish or even red in places. Recently, during my sinus infection they got much larger and somewhat red. Today, they are much smaller and whiter, more translucent than they have been in some time. (ns ss)

NIGHT SWEATS (see Menopause)
Couldn't sleep for awhile, lying in a coma state awake but not. Slept for
awhile but awoke every hour. I had sweats where I awoke with wet hair. (ss)

Ears hurting a bit, and glands below ears. Equalizing ear pressure does no good, need to swallow more than normal, and ears are slightly worse for swallowing. Root of nose feels cold. (vv)

On waking, left nostril is plugged, draining from left eustachian tube. Am concerned that this is return of sinus infection. (rs ss)

NOISE,SENSITIVITY TO

PTERYGIUMS

Pterygiums are small white, opaque growths that occur on the eyeball. Mine
are on the inside edge of the iris on both the left and right side (the
right side is larger). They are pretty small - maybe an eighth of an inch in
diameter. They are white to yellow in color and slightly transparent. When
my eyes are irritated they get pinkish or even red in places. Recently,
during my sinus infection they got much larger and somewhat red. Today,
they are much smaller and whiter, more translucent than they have been in
some time. (ns ss)
Pterygium still seem to be getting smaller even though eyes are irritated. Usually they grow with irritation. (ns ss)
Eyes are puffy this morning. Still Pterygiums are smaller. (ns ss)

RESPIRATORY
I can breath, my ears feel open and my eyes. (vv)

RESTLESSNESS
Felt restless today, dissatisfied. Couldn't concentrate. Tried to read but my mind wandered and I had to get up and move around. (cr)

VULNERABILITY
Irritability accompanied by tension. Feel self-protective, misunderstood,and verbally attacked by husband. (os ss)

WEAK
Not enough energy to complete usual exercise class. (cr)

BEARDED YELLOW IRIS
